Ocean hymn
The North Sea adopted your physical form on that early summer's day
But your presence is felt in not just one way
I see you when I look my sister in the eyes
I sense you when the setting sun lights up the skies
I hear you when the blackbird sings its morning song
I feel you when a wave pushes me along
I’m not sad though I miss you
So why do I cry? (Can I get a tissue?)
Is it because you made the world a better place?
You still do, so that can’t be the case
Is it because you radiated endless love?
You still do, just not down here but from above
I haven’t figured out how to deal with your loss dad
Just know that you're the best the world’s ever had
Your loving son
